What are Core Values?

Have you ever really thought about what makes you make a decision?

This can be what you eat in the morning, when you go to bed at night, how many kids to have, where to live, who to work for, what type of exercise to do. The list really can be endless, but the answers to these questions really can determine what your core values are as a person, as a family, or even in your business. These foundations are really your core values. What is it that you stand on and stand behind really tell a lot about you and affect the decisions you make. They really help with making you happy which is very important to me as you’ll see below.

what are valuesI’m going to share a few of my personal core values so that you can understand what they are and you can check out those for Evolution Health and Fitness

  • Love
  • Health
  • Strength
  • Happiness
  • Freedom
  • Education

It is important to remember that the interpretation of each core value is up to the individual. As an example I listed one of mine as strength. I know that for me this is not merely a physical strength. It means that I want to be strong in mind, body and spirit. If only one of these were strong that would not hold true to my meaning of my core values.

Once you get the understanding of what your core values are it is a lot like finding your Passion that we recently discussed. It will make decisions much easier for you when you are on the edge. Choosing the right foods, when to get to bed, the people you hang out with and the work you do all become much clearer. I’m sure that you probably have several, but have never really thought about them. I encourage you to share them below on the page, with friends, family and co-workers. For those that are not sure what their core values are we will discuss next week how to go about finding some.

Have a Great Day!
